Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF) the world-renowned jeweler, today announced plans to open an approximately 1,670-square-foot boutique in Berlin’s KaDeWe department store, in October of 2008. KaDeWe, Germany’s premier destination for luxury shopping, is located at Tauentzienstrasse 21-24, in the city’s most fashionable shopping area.

Visitors will enter the boutique through a polished black marble arch that leads to a modern and gracious interior designed with Macassar and walnut woods, custom furnishings, handmade wall coverings, and brushed stainless steel showcases arrayed with exclusive TIFFANY & CO. collections. Among them are the jeweler’s exquisite diamonds in engagement rings and jewels of ultimate glamour; fine and sterling silver jewelry; the celebrated designs of Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger and Frank Gehry; classic collections such as Tiffany Atlas® and Tiffany 1837™ ; watches; gifts and accessories.

Berlin will be the jeweler’s fifth location in Germany. Tiffany also operates stores in Munich, Frankfurt and Hamburg,. A store in Dusseldorf is scheduled to open later this month.
